I appreciate how Lili takes it beyond the wod. We don't just row 2k but she makes sure we row the right way. And for the backsquats, she teaches the class the right way to warm up, # rep wise, and wght wise.

I was really nervous about starting CrossFit. Lili is very welcoming and quickly put me at ease. She is also very good at explaining the different exercises so you perform them correctly. She gives you different options to perform the exercises at different ability levels while quietly encouraging you to push yourself safely.

Today’s workout was something I thought I could get through after being sick for a couple of weeks and still having trouble breathing. Lorne was great always encouraging and pointing out some flaws in my technique which is something I’m trying to improve on, a work in progress. Thanks Lorne, great job. I always enjoy the smaller classes to get extra coaching.

Crossfit Kilgard is a great gym with incredible coaches and community! This gym is perfect for any fitness level because you can scale any workout to your ability level. Coach Patrick is very knowledgeable and supportive and makes sure that people of all different levels of ability are accommodated! He pushes and challenges you, while also making sure you have fun. He has been such an incredible encourager during each class! He is full of energy which drives you to exceed and push past your expectations and limits. He brings so much life and love to the gym. At first, I was really nervous going into a new CrossFit box, but he made sure that each class was welcoming. Thanks to you, I always feel great during and after the class. Coach Patrick and all the coaches of CrossFit Kilgard are masters of their craft!

I’ve had the pleasure of being coached by coach Joel for a while now and I have to say he brings so much joy, knowledge, confidence and courage to every class he coaches. Coach Joel is truly amazing and I’ve seen my technique for bench and deadlift grow since working with him. Not only is he fun and outgoing but he brings with him an amazing family who also makes each class worth attending. The Marples definitely add to the CrossFit experience and I’m so lucky to have them as apart of my gym journey! Thank you so much Joel!

Lili is the bomb! Love coming on Wednesday which is typically gymnastics day which is in Lili's experitse. Always learn so much. I love the group warm up activities that are specific to each workout. She always has something up her sleeve to help others get better <3 keep it up!

I love going to Lili’s classes. She’s really great at finding one thing to focus on even for some of the more seasoned athletes. She has helped me refine many of my gymnastic skills. I find her white board brief to be very clear and precise but maybe a bit quicker. I think Lili has to be one of the stronger coaches when it comes to the knowledge of the movements and how to break them down into a more strategic game plan whether your looking for speed or strength.

Jesse has always been a great teacher! He handled the rowdy 6pm class really well! I love how he explains things and takes the time to make sure everyone is on the same page! One thing that I noticed was that we were waiting for the late people - while I myself have been late and appreciate the waiting I think its a good precedent to just start the class. I also recognize it was a short workout so waiting did not push us over the 1 hour.

I like it when Sean coaches. He provides clear and direct feedback on how to improve, while also cheering you on. Last week in particular he helped me overcome a hurdle with the deadlift after I had been struggling with this exercise.

I enjoy workouts with pat because he gives good feedback and allows for easy scaling when needed. Helps everyone individually one on one for best results I find has helped me come along way.
