Kyle was very attentive throughout my workout, watching my form to make sure I was doing each exercise correctly. He helped me adjust my posture during my burpees that made a big difference. I appreciated how approachable and patient he was and ready to answer my questions about preparing for an upcoming race!

Coach me so good. During the session, they carefully watched my form and adjusted my posture to make sure I was getting the most out of each exercise. The workout included a mix of strength training and cardio that really challenged me but felt doable because of the guidance. I felt pushed in the right way, which made me want to keep going even when it got tough. The energy in the gym was motivating, and the coach’s attention made the whole experience feel personal and effective. Loved it from start to finish at BRICK Fitness.
As always Jen is great, her expectations for each member are realistic and she is always willing to recommend adjustments based on a person’s strength/knowledge level. Jen has a gift to teach like a pro while also interacting with you on a personal level. She is always positive and carries this mama bear aura showing that she actually CARES about you as a human being as well as your safety. She is the magic sauce of our classes which help set the tone for others to pass asking that great feeling to others with their encouragement. This is the true essence of why her class works so well, she sets the tone for us as a collective which brings out the best in everyone as a community. She doesn’t over explain when offering adjustments, straight to the point without telling you what you’re doing wrong. An example is “try to squeeze my finger between your shoulder blade” - without breaking down x, y, z she can get down to a simple note that will naturally align a correction. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t ever feel like she tells people what they’re doing “wrong” but always puts a positive spin. In the past when I’ve taken golf lessons they tell you head down, straight hip then swing hips, straight arm, lift the ball and a million other things that are challenging for me process all at once, causing me to tune out. Jen is the exact opposite, fixing small bits at a time so that I can actually absorb and FEEL the correction. I always look forward to Jen’s class even when I’m not feeling my best emotionally or physically, she truly embodies what a gym community leader should be.

Pedro was great. Dressed in a tight shirt that showed off his big arms and tattoos, and a black beanie just covering his shaved head, he really inspired me to not step out of line. In class he was extremely motivating. He would shout really loudly and stare me down. I felt like I couldn’t drop the weight and had to hit that rep. And you know what, I did! I was really proud of myself. After class he threatened me with a good time if I didn’t come back. Rest assured coach, I’ll be there Monday. My life depends on it! Thanks Pedro you’re the best I’d highly recommend him.

1st official day went well. Folks were nice, workout was tough, and instructions were clear. Pedro saying hi was a nice touch as I haven’t been back in several weeks since my trial class.
Taryn is always enthusiastic, engaged, and cheerful! Love her attention to detail and she has the ability to modify anything and still make it challenging.
Daria brings good energy to class and explains the movements well, while keeping it short. She constantly calls out the clock as needed. She makes her way around the room checking form and providing motivation.

Jen was fantastic, she was so encouraging and motivating throughout the class. She made sure to continually check in with every athlete and make sure our forms were correct to prevent injury and increase gains. Jens attitude throughout the class made it such a positive experience. I would also like to comment on how fantastic and clean the facilities were. This is a really great gym.
I attended open gym, and I must say, my technical coaching was en pointe today. As a motivator and personal cheerleader, however, even I can see concede that “yer f*cking weak,” POS, and my favorite, “well just look at you, of course you’ll die alone “ while all relentlessly true, are also unkind and of limited training value when they are also known to be inevitable. Has nothing to do with Kai he’s amazing — you need real actual working AC. This is a gym, there needs to be good AC — like for the health and wellbeing of your patrons. You are a gym in Los Angeles that charges over $250 a month for membership, having a safe and comfortable environment for working out is the BARE MINIMUM. It’s not safe. Find a solution now!

Kyle was a great CF Trainer. Even with an incredibly busy class was able to provide the guidance needed to everyone. Love Trainers who are able to translate standardized cues into easy to follow remedies to lifts. Other than that, he has great energy!

Caleb is always motivating knowledgeable and runs class in a well organized and efficient way and most of all always keeps it fun challenging and encourages all to do their best.
I take George’s BX and Build classes all the time. His Friday 5:15pm Build class is a favorite way to end my week. He’s quietly encouraging, always with a kind “you’re doing great” between sets that keeps you going. He’s really good about keeping an eye on correct form or suggesting alternative exercises for folks having trouble.
Vincent leads a great workout, including a well thought out warm up that compliments the work required! He always finds time to correct individual form, even in a large class. Best for not forget the best playlist too…

I’ve taken 2 of George’s classes (both the Build classes) and loved it so much I joined the gym. George is very knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to talk to. I’ve been apart of a few CF gyms in LA and across the country, he is up there with the best of them.
I dropped in from Chicago, Caleb was knowledgable, kept the class moving, roamed the box during class giving pointers and motivation. Overall a great experience.

Vince is always a great coach. Does a good job exposing the workout and motivating us during it too
This was my first class with Albie and he was great! Very encouraging to all class members and I liked how he incorporated foam rolling into the warm up and had time in the class to do some stretching to cool down at the end.

Kyle did a great job of being attentive and providing clear instruction. The class was both informative and provided a good workout. I always appreciate how thoughtful and attentive Kyle is as an instructor.
Even the program is pre-set, I love that Daria takes the time for the cool down and a good stretch after a workout. Much needed and appreciated.
First time working out at Brick and it was great! The workout was challenging, the facilities are top notch and Daria was friendly, welcoming, helpful, informative, and motivating. Thanks Daria for making me feel right at home, I’ll be back, for sure!

While these classes are no joke, I felt super comfortable my first class with Taryn. She helped with form and had adjustments while also being encouraging. Excited for the next class.
Brick is great for building strength with the BLD group weight lifting classes! Taryn is awesome and super helpful teaching proper form, etc! It’s like having a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost since they offer at least 10 BLD classes week! Not to mention the multiple HIT and CrossFit classes daily! Overall its the best trainers, gym and classed I’ve ever experienced!

Taryn is one of the most knowledgeable and attentive trainers I’ve ever worked with. Even in group class settings, she always goes out of her way to make sure my questions are answered and my form is perfect. Her workout programming is superb and has helped me develop a better understanding of functional strength training and foundational movements. And the best part- her class with her is so much fun!

Visiting from another city , I tend to be very quiet but Kai made me reallly comfortable and at home . He made sure that I’m safe and always ask me how I was . Very charming , approachable and know what he’s doing. Too bad he’s not working tomorrow my last day here . 😭
Really needed a workout and was in the neighborhood so did a drop in and everyone was super welcoming - none of that hazing feeling you get at some CF gyms. And great setup and equipment!

Vincent was great! Very friendly and kept the class hyped and moving throughout the hour. He walked us through ring muscle-ups which I have never achieved until his walkthrough so I'm super stoked about that. Looking forward to dropping again soon!
Daria was extremely knowledgeable and patient and always felt like I could ask a question and she corrected me multiple times and showed me thr correct way. Definitely will be back.
He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with exhaustive, dynamic and useful guidelines for every single excersice of the wod. His stretching routines are always useful. You can feel his passion for crossfit during the workouts. His workouts bring out the best of us! Not even highly, but Extremely recommended!
Hi approach is focused. He monitors intently and offers assistance when needed to everybody. His cool downs are also greatly appreciated.
Daria is an excellent coach, with great energy, expertise and super helpful tips and strategies to workout and move in healthful, maximized ways. Really enjoyed her class!
Marika was excellent! Love her energy and feedback she gives on my barbell lifts. I’m always excited to take push day Wednesdays with her!

Kyle is such a nice trainer. He explained the techniques very clearly and demonstrated the skills multiple times in different views for me to observe. She was great. I personally like coaches that don’t take themselves too seriously but are very knowledgeable and helpful. Marika was just that…friendly, she walked through the workout, and let us do our thing but on hand if we needed assistance. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Hi Taryn I loved the program Friday. The A & B section and then the last C part. I felt the both A & B we could take more time and then C was the banger to make it a great workout. We love chest workouts!
