Really enjoyed today’s workout. There wasn’t as many people in attendance but it made it a more 1 on 1 type of experience with the coach and other athletes and even higher camaraderie than usual. Today was more upper body focused and Carina spent time with each person and I was able to pick her brain a bit in the strict press and picked up a few bits of information that made the lift feel better and add a little more weight than I was expecting. Carina pushed us and we were even able to get a bonus round in at the end: overall the gym is a 10/10, it can be humbling and an ego check at times which is great, whenever I’m thinking that I have things figured out, I get hit with a new exercise that whips my ass and makes me want to work harder. I love the style of workouts and nothing is ever stagnant and the programming is on point. I’ll be back tomorrow.
Holly is always fun and helpful during every session. She takes the time to watch your form closely and makes modifications for your fitness level, whether that means adjusting the weight or suggesting alternative moves. Her energy keeps the workouts engaging, and she notices when you’re struggling or ready to push a bit harder. I always feel supported and challenged in just the right way, which makes a big difference in staying motivated. Coach Jess keeps the class fun and light, creating an easygoing atmosphere. She is extremely informative and she explains the purpose behind every movement and makes sure we’re doing the workout correctly. I love the consistency at 540 Fitness. Every time I come in for a workout I always leave feeling accomplished and motivated.
As always, coach Holly was able to give me some different movements to do while suffering from an injury in my toes. Always a great fun class!

I absolutely cannot say enough about 540Fitness and their coaches! The gym is fully equipped with everything you could need to train and participate in classes. The coaches are well trained, knowledgeable, helpful and kind! The gym owners are unbelievably accessible and generous with their time and knowledge. And, the community of people who train at 540 are the best humans I know. This is a second home for me with people I trust and love.
Tammy encourages me to push myself so that I maintain certain gains and so I can strengthen other gains. I am stronger than I have ever been. Following each class, I am better prepared for any difficulties or inconveniences life may bring my way. Today for example, I was criticized by a former friend. Fine, I thought in my head, I completed 30 back squats this morning!😏
I walked in to use the restroom and ended up doing a workout! I told the coach I didn't have the right shoes on and she gave me hers! 😂 The gym is very roomy, clean, with a great atmosphere! The great thing was, I was able to go at my own pace and modify my workout! I highly recommend!!
Coach Tammy was really awesome and helped me find alternatives to a exercise I was struggling with. She was really encouraging and so was the whole class and it made me feel like I was doing okay for a first time.

I attended both the Performance and Strength and Conditioning classes at 540 Fitness after coming back from my trip abroad. I missed this place not only for the workouts but also for the 540 Fitness members. They have truly become my second family, and that connection motivates me to keep pushing myself to become the best athlete version of myself. At the same time, it inspires me to encourage others to reach their achievable fitness levels at the gym. Coach Jessica always makes the workouts fun and challenging; her energy fills the room and keeps everyone engaged. Meanwhile, Coach Jerod carefully develops the programming, balancing intensity and variety so each session feels fresh and purposeful. Today, Jessica coached me to do the full movements of the burpees because she knows I want to be a full-time performance athlete. She pays close attention to my form, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way. Jess not only cares deeply for me but also for every single person who walks through the doors at 540 Fitness. It is so great to be back with everyone again.

Can't bench due to injury, no issue for Emmett. He adjusted the workout for me with ease. 2nd part of day was 2 min of hell, and Emmett was right there pushing and rooting for us all. Another great day at 540
First time at a CrossFit gym today! The class was very friendly and welcoming to me as a newcomer. The instructor, Phoebe, did a great job explaining the movements, making sure everyone knew what to do and how to do it, and the workout was appropriately hard without being crushing or confusing. It was fun to work with a partner. I plan to come back!
Love when I visit a 6pm class and it’s Coach Emmett. He’s so nice, calm and thorough. He’s always ready to answer any questions you have and pays attention to the small things. We always enjoy his class!

It was all you could ask for. Even with varying knowledge of CrossFit in one class, I’m a beginner at best, Coach Emmett was able to keep eyes on everyone, help or advise on forms, thought the class as well. Went over all movements as a new one started. The facilities are great. The atmosphere is amazing. Had a great time

Facility - First impression as a new comer was great. Was welcomed and staff immediately greeted us when we walked in. Check-in process easy and facility was very clean. Mats were clean and weights and equipment organized. Time management - Attended the 9am class and started exactly at 9 and ended right at 10. Coach Tammy did a great job with warm up, briefing of the workout, and getting members set up. Coaching- Coach Tammy had great command presence. She was able to take a technical movement and simplify it to the ability of the athlete. She had very good time management, verbal cues, and was very engaging. Refreshing to get solid coaching and not have someone just tracking the time. Coach Tammy seems to be very knowledgeable and experienced in coaching. Vibe - overall a great vibe for a gym. Members were very welcoming and everyone was encouraging.
Experienced some of the absolute BEST coaching today at 540 Fitness. Workout programming was well designed with a clear stimulus. Tammy is not only an incredible coach, but also truly cares about each member and took the time to give individual feedback to all of us. Cannot recommend this gym enough to anyone who is serious about their fitness goals.

Fun class this morning at 9 am, especially since it was my first class in 2 weeks after being sick, too busy, etc. Carina is great about going around and helping everyone with their form - she is always watchful so that everyone is safe during the workouts and gently pushes everyone to get through to the end! Only 2 pieces of feedback - nothing to do with any coaches. 1. It would be nice to consistently have open gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays after the 6 am classes. I miss attending Foundations and would like to do that plus my extra programming without having to come back to the gym in the afternoons. I know there's a large gap between 6 and 9 am classes - AND I guess I can come at 5 am to get the extra programming in lol... probably not happening! But that 7 am is a sweet spot to get extra workouts done. At least for me! 😆 2. There was one Thursday morning after the 6 am class in which 4 people had to take showers before going to work, etc. Caused a bit of a backlog. I do worry that I might end up going to the gym in the morning and have to wait for a shower which may end up making me late - or I might hold someone else up! If the gym membership grows, it might be nice to have an extra couple of showers - not sure if the waiting for the showers is a big issue or not. Might just be me! Thanks for all you're doing to continue to keep this gym the already awesome place that it is!

This was my first class back in a gym setting in a while, so I felt a little rusty at the start - my muscles weren’t quite remembering all the moves. But the members at 540 Fitness were incredibly welcoming, greeting me with smiles and encouragement. Class was great today. It was definitely a heater not for the week at all. It got my heart rate up kept me moving in. It was very cool to see everybody. Encourage each other to finish and keep pushing through all three rounds. It’s always nice to have encouragement from fellow classmates That also felt the pain and suffering along side of you.

I love everything about this gym!! From the minute you walk in, there’s a sign that says “you don’t HAVE to, you GET to”, which just sets the tone for the mindset you should have throughout the workout. Each coach is different but amazing in their own way. Jess is hysterical and always makes you laugh even when the workout makes you want to die; Jerod is SO knowledgeable and it’s an honor to be an athlete of his; Emmett is super chill and always so helpful; Julia is so attentive and so supportive and is always happy to help and give advice; Phoebe is so sweet and fun; Carina is always so happy and encouraging; Holly is super personable and always smiling; and Tammy is always having fun but pushing you to work hard. All the coaches are SO knowledgeable and will make your day every time you go. I never worry about who the coach is because I know I can trust them to help me and encourage me. The members of this gym are next level, too. I’ve never met such supportive people. Everyone is there to be the best and healthiest version of themselves, but support everyone else on their journey as well. I could come into this gym not wanting to work out, in a bad mood, too focused on what’s going on outside of the gym, or whatever else, but I ALWAYS leave in a better mood. This place not only makes my mental and physical health so much better, but it’s a community that makes you feel so loved and seen and cared for.

What a great experience. My first time ever at a gym like this. Julia as well as everyone in attendance was friendly, helpful and encouraging. From showing me the moves to helping me figure out the machine settings. I really can’t find anyway to improve except maybe the ability to sign up. 😊

I struggle with stringing double unders together but Julia gave me some on-the-fly tips which helped. I appreciated her giving me feedback both during and after my double under attempts. Realtime feedback from a coach like this is so valuable when trying to learn a new skill.

How many times have you said, “I need a really good stretch?” I appreciate how Jess and Jarod listen to what their members want to see as a class and deliver it! Sweaty and Flexy. This morning was my first Sunday workout, and it was fantastic. Seeing so many smiling faces is a great way to start the day. I love this family!

Jess creates a fun and energetic vibe during the work out coupled with a deep knowledge of the proper mechanics of the various exercises. Sometimes the difference between doing a movement correctly or incorrectly can be very subtle and she is adept at pointing that out. She has improved the efficiency of my work outs and has made me understand the pacing much better. An added bonus is that she may show you an awesome dance move during the work out.

Coach Jerod is a pro at making sure everyone gets the instruction they need to perform the movements safely and effectively. I always feel like I can push a little harder on lifts and accomplish something I wouldn’t have even tried without his coaching. It’s a great way to start the day!

As always, 540 Fitness never fails to bring a smile to my face at 5 in the morning and still keep that smile even after a kick ass workout. Doesn’t matter what coach or who your partner is for a workout, there’s always someone yelling across the gym, “you got this” or “great job”!

Absolutely loved it! I haven’t seriously worked out in a good 40 years..at least as far as strength training goes. I apologize I forget the coaches name but the middle name was Raye. I’m torn as maybe I’m biting off more than I can chew with the Strength and Conditioning class. I think im going to start off slowly with the Foundation classes..give that a whirl for a month then maybe bump up. I told my wife about it and I think she would really enjoy it as well. The feel-good community feel is exactly what I was hoping for. Maybe email some info on the sign-up process for the Foundation Class. Thanks again..nothing but positivity here and will spread the word

Coach Will was awesome! He had a good and simple workout planned for me for my first day. The atmosphere in the gym was great too. I was welcomed by lots of people and immediately felt like part of the family.
I know he’s my bestest bro, but today I decided I wanted to come in and do my own thing at my own pace and he took a little time and helped me develop a little workout suitable for the intensity level I was looking for. He didn’t have to do it, he just did it.. Thankful for that! Ended up being a workout targeting some of the movements in the regular workout but again at the pace I desired for the day.

Coach Tammy provided great info on max heart rate and the need to eat prior. Her explanation on how to achieve a better workout through nutrition and knowing your body. She is always available to answer questions and give advice. She truly cares about the members needs and goals. Great class.

Coach was well prepared to start on time. He got everyone together for some stretching and warming the body up. Great workout and the coach really pushed to keep a solid paste and push at the end.
The community of people here is something special to be a part of. Pairing that with A+ coaches from 5am till 6pm daily, is what makes this gym exceptional!
Emmett is always on point with his coaching, from warmup to the cool down. he makes sure to cheer on each athlete at some point during the wod. Been away from crossfit about a year now and 540 members and coaches always greet me like I never left. Much love and success to the 540 gang, until next time 💪💪
