Gio is good at giving feedback for various movements in class. He’s helped with my handstand push ups, the power transfer in my cleans, toes to bar and today with my sled pull for Hyrox. And you can always count on him being energetic when you’re not quite awake during an early am class.🙌🏽

He also has a great sense of humor and makes class fun. One simple addition that I would love to see in classes is stretching after muscles are a bit warm. I can explain more in person.
Chris is such a wonderful coach- he pushes you to do better by believing that you can. His classes always have something new so it never gets boring and he is able to cater to different levels of fitness in the group by suggesting modifications when he sees someone in need of one.
Very friendly staff and members. The setup is super cool with 3 workout spaces. You have the option to workout with a class in the main gym or do your own open workout in one of the other two areas. Very spacious and clean. Highly recommended! I’m in town for 6 weeks and am loving it!

Gio is an amazing coach, in classes large and small. He brings infectious enthusiasm and provides targeted cues and feedback. I was fortunate enough to receive some 1v1 training from Gio today, and he really helped me with a problem area that I thought I had little chance of improving - weak wrists. He listened to me and provided some effective stretches and exercises to incorporate into my training. I put things to the test on the barbell and was shocked at how much better and more confident I felt. Thanks Gio!

After a long hiatus of putting my health and fitness on the back burner, I started at Tough Temple in the spring and began to attend Gio's classes. When I first started, I couldn't manage one lunge. It was a rough reality that all the basics were challenging. However, I kept attending classes and over the last weeks, I noticed myself getting stronger—moving with more control, recovering faster between sets, and actually looking forward to pushing myself each session. Today, I felt like I was smashing through the lunges and box burpees. It was definitely a "finally!" moment. I want to credit much of this progress to Gio and his amazing coaching. He has an incredible way of keeping the class fun and lighthearted while also encouraging us to challenge ourselves and reach our limits. He helps everyone stay focused on completing the workout strong, which really builds and boosts your confidence for the next time you show up!
Awesome drop in experience. Gio’s a great coach, energetic & knowledgeable. Very hospitable too. I took a class, but the overall gym is really cool, with a huge open gym section as well. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!

Great first kettlebell class with Mike! Just starting the strong start series and he has really challenged me and corrected my posture to get it right.
After a year of practicing solo and following John on Instagram, I finally joined my first in-person Animal Flow class. Even though it was a free jam session, John brought great energy and made the experience incredibly engaging. We repeated some movements over 10 times, but his guidance and enthusiasm kept it fun and motivating throughout. I’m excited to join the beginner classes soon to deepen my understanding of the flow and build a stronger foundation. Highly recommend to anyone curious about Animal Flow!

This was my first time attending a kettlebell sport class at Tough Temple. The workout was a strength-focused circuit with a handful of exercises I was unfamiliar with. Mike was an excellent instructor, breaking down the movements and providing cues during the circuit, while keeping everyone's energy and engagement high.
Gio is extremely energetic! He definitely gets us going in the early morning with his humor, positive attitude and energy! I always learn something new with Gio or at a minimal fine tune a movement for optimal results. I’m hooked.

Gio took the time to drill into movements we do frequently such as pull-ups and rowing. It was really great for athletes all levels. Everyone walked out with an additional tip that they can try for the next time.

Very few things get me up and moving on Saturday morning but working out with John is one of those top-billed occasions I will not miss. The Hyrox workout is well designed from day-to-day and week-to-week with enough diversity to save me from the boredom of a stalled workout. The Hyrox workout is also formulated to help me build strength and endurance. John (and many other coaches) at Tough Temple obviously enjoy what they do—you can tell by the care and attentiveness they’ve shown to people in the class. John takes the time to know people and understand their fitness needs—helping them scale down to avoid injuries or challenging them to do more. I get more out of an hour-long Hyrox class with John than running 6 miles on my own.
Thanks, John, for making me feel welcome, even when I’ve been away from the gym for a while. I always love attending John’s classes! John makes beginner animal flow accessible for all levels, but he also incorporates new and interesting transitions to keep us growing as flowists and having fun. I enjoy having John as an Animal Flow instructor. He is very form-specific, making sure basics are understood and executed correctly, but at the same time, his genuine enjoyment of the subject matter and positive reinforcement keep the vibe light.
Great time with the class. Was my first time ever attending any sort of cross fit session but it was a great atmosphere and motivated me to complete the workout as best as I could.

As always Jeethu brings a her nice grounded energy to the gym. She gently notices and corrects body positions making the workouts more effective. Instructions are clear and she is always approachable for questions. Her cooldowns are yoga inspired and very helpful.

Lyndsie was great! She led a well organized class that was very energetic at 5pm. Big classes can sometimes be unorganized but the whole hour went by smoothly mixing in a warm up, strength and metcon and we finished with enough time to clean up and not be rushed out. Lyndsie also made sure to attend to each member in the class!

Sam Rosenblatt was coach for movement and mobility. The class was just what I needed. Great exercises that I could do on my own to warm up and keep in shape for the sports I enjoy. Sam is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to exercise and movement.

I've had Andrea as a Crossfit Coach for about three days a week for roughly three months. Her chipper spirit and happy attitude in her training is quite inviting. Really good for those who are beginning with crossfit or out of shape trying to get back into it. She understands how to prevent injuries for people with mobility issues and scales workouts to where people are at. Andrea is an excellent trainer.

When it comes to CrossFit coaches, Andrea is a solid all-around coach. I've been doing CrossFit for the last 16 years and have been to so many gyms. I took 3 drop-in classes with Andrea. Andrea is so polite, friendly, positive and supportive as a coach. During the warmup and briefing, she was thorough, and pointed out areas to focus on. She showed interest in making sure every athlete, beginner to advanced, was set and doing well before and during the workouts. And she provided friendly reminders in reaching proper standards and depth. For beginners, she showed patience and proper critiques to help them....always with a smile and warmth. There was never yelling or condescending. And what I found to be so amazing was her ability to distinguish whether athletes wanted feedback and what feedback was needed to get them through. It's pretty rare to find a positive and friendly coach that is so approachable and yet able to provide the critiques needed for all levels of athletes. Usually, a coach might make a backhanded comment or say something in front of everyone that could make an athlete feel worse about themselves and not supportive. And Andrea ensures that all athletes feel like they took something positive away from each workout.

The warmup was thorough, along with clean and jerk progressions. There was plenty of time to move from part A of the workout to part B without feeling rushed. Gio did a great job preparing the already EXTREMELY SORE class for a brutal workout. He had a plan for us to progress without feeling like our legs would explode into a million pieces.
Wish I could give 6/5. Gio is a patient, intuitive, and knowledgeable coach, who knows when to push you and when to tell you to dial it down. He’ll also having you doubled over in laughter almost every class you attend, whether it’s 5 am or 7 pm. I owe my (honestly shocking) progress to him and his excellent coaching. Thanks, Gio!

I had an excellent first barbell club class with Stephen. I took it as a precursor for the crossfit and I’ve never lifted a barbell in my life. Stephen asked about previous injuries, taught me proper technique, and stayed nearby to make sure I was doing all right. I’m excited to do all of the classes.
I love Mike's classes! I always get the perfect combination of strength training and cardio. He provides feedback, correcting ones form and movement in order to prevent injury. With his training, I feel stronger and health. I will follow him anywhere he goes.
Outstanding workout, Don explained the entire warm up, and work out with detail. Everyone was very welcoming.

Steve is a really great instructor. He’s very thoughtful and kind in providing feedback, and modifying when physical limitations are present.
Whenever I take his class he makes sure to help me with my form and gives me helpful tips to succeed!! He’s the best!

Coach Gio was great in class today! He provided helpful feedback during the weightlifting and was motivating during the WOD. He always makes classes constructive and fun! Plus he has awesome shoes 😁
Gio was amazing! He always brings such good energy into the gym and knows how to motivate people to push that last little bit. He also ensures safety by discussing appropriate weight to use for exercises!

Always love Trina’s classes. She makes the classes light hearted, but gets you to work to your own limits. She recognizes if you can do more. She watches and coaches form. I really enjoy Trina’s classes.
Trina was very helpful walking me through how to use the equipment for the first time!
Elizabeth is a terrific coach. She is thoughtful in her approach to each athlete, targeting the specific needs of each person, and aware that each person learns differently and at a different rate. I am very impressed with how she handles groups of people with different skill levels and very different ages. She encourages a positive group atmosphere and is fun to work with.
Coach Don always runs a great class! Love the emphasis on form and the energy he brings to the gym. The pacing of the class is spot on and he makes sure everyone gets specific coaching throughout the workout.
Besides him telling me that I was getting hitchy, he was cool. A vibe. He also checked if I could take ozempic and lift. I can. That’s a vibe

Moataz is a wonderful coach who helps achieve goals in an incremental fashion. I spent about three months at Tough Temple and during this time Moataz has helped me become confident about my own strength — knowing when to push harder and when to help in setting achievable goals. He pays attention to small details about your fitness journey and also encourages you to see the bigger picture. I highly recommend working with Coach Moataz for all levels of fitness.
Coach Andrea is fantastic! She gives individual instructions to each class member as needed and her enthusiasm and energy makes class very fun.

Andrea pays attention in my movements and always correct me when I'm doing something wrong, and I really like this. She always have a great energy in the mornings that helps to wake up and work out better
