I have been a member of SOS for 6 months now and really appreciate the sense of community. I really look forward to having Leah as a Coach for at least 2 of my weekly classes. She is really observant and is watching even when I don't realize it. She encourages me when I feel like I don't have any gas left in my tank during the metabolic conditioning portion of class. Leah doesn't hesitate to call me out on a strength component when she knows I'm capable of lifting more weight safely. So, there's no hiding from her keen eyes. I also love how she checks in with everyone on a personal level inviting us to share with her and vice versa which creates that continued sense of community.
Amy explains exercises well and gives clear prompts that really help me remember how to do each movement correctly. She points out key details like body positioning, which makes a big difference in how effective the workout feels. Her modification ideas are great - she suggests alternative versions of exercises that fit my current ability without losing the challenge. Amy is kind and encouraging throughout the session, keeping the energy upbeat and motivating. She checks in regularly to see how I’m doing and adjusts the pace or weights accordingly. Working out with her at Skill of Strength feels supportive but also energizing, and I leave feeling confident that I’m building strength the right way.
Leah does a great job of giving personalized feedback even in a group setting!
Leah was great today. Appreciate the tips on form on those RDLs.
Leah is awesome!
Very attentive. Checked form multiple times. Gave good advice in areas where I was struggling
Leah is great! I get a great workout :)
Evan is knowledgeable, fun and no-nonsense coach when it comes to getting results. He will be missed at SOS.
Evan is the man and I’m going to miss him a lot, he’s a great guy and knows his stuff, I love working out with him and my family loves him too!
Coach Evan was very informative with his instructions and demos on today’s workout. He was helpful and patient when I was struggling to get my form correct. I was debating on making it to class tonight after a long day of work, I’m so glad I did, Evan made workout fun.
Coach Mike Perry’s Monday morning sessions are always an inspiring way to start the week! Focused and tough, Mike’s classes always test me and give me the feedback I need to stay on-course with my fitness… and Mike leads them in a way that challenges everyone from novice to experienced athletes. Always an A+ experience!
Great coaches who really know how to guide you through each workout with careful attention to your form and progress. The results I’ve seen speak for themselves - strength gains and improved endurance that keep me motivated. What stands out at Skill of Strength is the support they offer, never rushing you and always adjusting plans as you improve. The atmosphere is just a really fun place to workout, with a positive energy that makes even tough sessions enjoyable. It’s clear they care about your long-term success, not just quick fixes.
Today was a really challenging class for me. Kaleb was very attentive and offered up form corrections and modifications when I was struggling. He is very upbeat and encouraging which is wonderful especially at 5 in the morning.

Evan was awesome. Welcoming and attentive and encouraging. He did a great job leading everyone and making sure we all got what we needed and were doing it safely.
Evan has been great ever since I met him and he is still doing great.
As a new member of SOS, I really appreciate Kaleb’s attention to my capabilities with the tendinitis I’m still working through. He is very helpful with making sure I can find alternate ways to complete the workouts. He’s very responsive to my questions. I love his positive attitude and enthusiasm and that makes me look forward to showing up to class.
I am not able to select the coach. This review is for Amy…. I enjoyed yesterday’s class very much. The strength and conditioning exercises were challenging but doable. This morning, my body feels that it was challenged yesterday but not beat-up. I also appreciate you helping me with the exercises that I did not do correctly. Your instructions were clear. I liked the pace of the class with ample time for recovery and water. I will attend various MOVE classes depending on my wife’s work schedule. So, if you don’t see me for a bit, it is not a reflection of your classes :-) I see you are SFG 1 certified. I hope to be continuing with private coaching soon. Perhaps you can help with my SFG I training.
Evan G. is a great coach! He makes working out fun and always makes me laugh! Evan pushes me every class so I can get stronger, he’s awesome!
Evan is always attentive and encouraging. He makes class fun but also is paying attention to how we are all doing - offers corrections and suggestions on how to modify or improve form, especially when you are dealing with an injury. Thank you Evan love your class!
I have been prescribed several challenging personal tailored 5 week programs by Coach Amy. Each has increased my strength, endurance and motivation with the positive results I have achieved! I have been with SOS since its beginning. There is no gym that is it equal!!
Great job by Coach Evan. The energy was perfect with on the spot corrections.
Evan was amazing today as always, he takes his time to explain the workouts - the do’s and dont’s so you get most out of your hard work and don’t cause injury. He encourages you to push yourself, he’s always positive and always smiling. I love taking the conditioning class with Evan, I almost never miss it!
PT session w/coach Kaleb today, coming back from about 3 weeks off the gym due to work obligations, struck a very good balance of encouragement vs strictness.
All of the coaches are great about teaching proper form and providing alternatives for your limitations or injuries!
Caleb did great today, keeping an eye on everyone’s form, helping them make adjustments, and also telling us good job when we did it right. (The drop down just says “select a coach” when I press it, and doesn’t list any coaches).
Had the best session today! Every time I leave I feel 10x better than when I walked in the door.
I'll be staring one on one coaching next week and had a very thorough intake evaluation with coach Amy this week. It involved listening to my objectives for training, lifestyle, physical history as well as assessing balance and strength. This evale will help form a customized training program to reach my objectives. Looking forward to working with Amy!
Evan Goodall has been great every session I have had since joining SOS. I am 61 and have many complicated spinal issues. He has designed and trained me with programs that are restoring my muscle mass in a well planned program that has avoided aggravating my spine problems. He is an excellent trainer who has the versatility of working well with an out of shape 61 yo, while providing strength training to my 17 year old son who is a varsity athlete!!
