Johnson city CrossFit ain’t no joke, Phil and Tricia have created such an amazing challenging environment for the community and going from pure stength training classes to over all CrossFit which incorporates strength training and cardio , definitely has improved my health in so many ways. Not only is it a challenging environment but each and everyone of the coaches obtain high knowledge and they will verify and confirm you are doing the proper form and techniques to improve endurance. If you want to invest in your life this is the way to go. After my first drop in I immediately became a member.

Coach Phil is awesome!! I love coming to Johnson City CrossFit because the coaches are truly supportive and informative. They don’t just count reps or set timers - they actively watch our form, offer tips to improve technique, and make sure we’re moving safely. What stands out most for me is how they keep us pushing forward, challenging us to reach new goals while carefully preventing injuries. For example, Phil will notice if my posture is off during a lift and immediately guide me to adjust, which has saved me from strain more than once. I’m so thankful for this gym!! The energy here is motivating without being overwhelming, and the coaches’ attention makes every workout feel purposeful and rewarding.
This gym and the people have become family. The hardest part is walking through the door but once you’re in, the coaches are awesome and push you to be the best. I have become so strong and confident. It’s the best stress reliever for me and so glad I found this place 16 months ago!

Shannon is a great coach. She offers gentle, constructive corrections and allows you to find your own pace, while providing practical modifications for complex movements. I never felt pressured to push harder or hold back—she guided me to the perfect pace for the intended stimulus.

Very informative and easy to communicate with.
Everyone is extremely helpful and patient. Coaches really do you care about your progress but making sure you are doing all movements correctly. They are very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging , and are more than willing to work with each person and what their needs may be. They see your potential and work hard with you to reach your goals. I have attended 10 classes so far and have already seen and felt progress. I look forward to mornings I am able to attend classes. I really appreciate all of the class times they offer as well. It’s a great environment and I am excited to continue my CrossFit journey.
