Taylor is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly supportive, from helping us pick the perfect music to checking in consistently and cheering us on through the toughest parts of class. Her energy is contagious, and she knows exactly how to push you while keeping the vibe positive. The stretching at the end was exactly what I needed, and I loved how she shared a bit about her own CrossFit journey , it made everything feel more personal and real. So friendly, so uplifting. Truly one of the best!

Teresa is a gifted coach and she recognizes the strength and weaknesses of her students. I had been out sick with the flu and bronchitis for a month and was a little nervous about going back to class. The great thing about the class , you do as much as you can and give it your all. On February 19th, I attended Coach Desmond's P&F class at Invictus Seattle. The session included ring dips, which I tried for the first time, and Desmond coached me through it with great attention to detail. We also did DB bench press, long lunges, meter row, pull-ups (which I replaced with ring rows), and wall walks (which I modified to ball slams). Desmond's exceptional coaching skills, clear communication, and friendly demeanor made the class both effective and enjoyable. His supportive and motivational approach helped me push my limits. When my beloved personal trainer decided to change careers, she conscientiously referred all of her clients to selected coaches and classes at Invictus Gym. When I learned she was referring me to a class called “Strong For Life,” I felt a little insulted, picturing my parents’ chair and water wings exercise classes. Upon visiting Invictus in person, my feelings did a 180 shift to FEAR. These people looked like hard core weight lifters and body builders. The kind, personable staff, however, quickly put me at ease. I decided to take a chance on “Strong For Life.” Yes, this class is designed for “older” people, but it has turned out to be my all-time favorite physical training experience. Coach Teresa is knowledgeable, skilled, encouraging, and competent. It’s obvious she puts a lot of thought and care into planning our 3x/week workouts. I am never bored and always challenged. Most of us have prior injuries and various aches and pains, but Teresa provides individual feedback and encouragement and helps us adapt specific exercises so we stay safe. Besides feeling challenged and seeing our strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance improve—we have a lot of fun!
