Very welcoming, especially as a total newbie to CrossFit. Mindy took the time to explain everything really well, breaking down each movement so I could follow along without feeling too overwhelmed. She was very encouraging throughout the session, noticing when I needed modifications and tailoring the workout to fit my ability. Her helpful, positive feedback kept me motivated, pointing out what I was doing well and gently guiding me to improve my form. I’m genuinely looking forward to my next session with her.
Coach Mike is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and motivating. He explains movements clearly, focuses on proper form, and always encourages us to push our limits. Every class is challenging, positive, and well coached.

I really loved the 12 days of Xmas workout- it was so well thought out. It’s such a nice combination of CrossFit and endurance. Annie is always help and enthusiastic. Her workouts and motivation are why I come!

Best in the business! Right amount of push and encouragement for each individual. Does a great job of explaining each movement at the beginning of each workout and course correcting during the workout when form is off. Highly recommend!

What’s one positive change you've noticed since joining CrossFit Waldwick?
I always look forward to having Steve as my coach. He gives amazing cues that really help me improve my skills, lifts, and workouts. Today, he took extra time to go over foot placement for rope climbs. Having a coach who notices these details and takes time to personalize instruction makes me one step fitter every day. Thanks Steve!

Mindy is the best! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, focuses on proper form and injury prevention, and always makes workouts positive and fun. She gives constructive feedback in such a warm and thoughtful way, helping you improve without ever feeling discouraged. She’s helped me find smart modifications for my postpartum body and never makes scaling feel like a setback. Mindy is always encouraging and makes you leave class feeling accomplished—and I actually look forward to her classes, even at 5:30 a.m., which is no small feat!

Mindy is always great. She makes sure you focus on form and doesn't hesitate to spend a few extra minutes after class to help you improve. She is knowledgeable and brings her learnings from outside the gym into our workouts. I always look forward to seeing her on the schedule!

Annie’s class is great. I like that challenging exercises are set out with the ability to adjust to your own level. I like that there is variety every week, so new challenges, you don’t get bored. Annie is there to assist and field questions through the session. 5 ⭐️

Annie is the best! She always motivates me. While her programming is extremely tough, she makes me feel like I am capable! I asked for pointers on a specific move today and she helped me. She also pushed me to pick up a heavier sandbag and I was able to complete it. If you survive a class with Annie, you literally feel like you can accomplish anything.
Mike was great. A calming, yet confident presence helps everyone settle in and feel comfortable in class, regardless of ability. My only concern for classes going forward is the mustache.
Peter was terrific! He really genuinely cares and takes time with each member on perfecting techniques. He is patient and receptive and makes the workouts fun and interesting. His class really challenged me and his method of instruction motivated me to maximize my potential.
Dana was excellent in her first day back! She kept the class engaged while going over the workout. She made sure everyone knew what they were doing and demonstrated different types of scaling movements. She kept tabs on everyone during the class, making sure they were moving correctly.

Love the people and classes! 5:30 classes are tough but fun, the coaches really care about your progress. They are supportive and push you to get better. Best GYM ever!

I’ve the privilege of training with coach Mike for about 5 years . I used to race Ironman and during that season I didn’t really lift weights…my training was swim, bike and run …right after the pandemic I found Waldwick Crosfit and my whole fitness journey has leveled up. Coach Mike always there to push me, guide me and cheer me on. Stronger body, stronger mind set and I couldn’t ask for a better coach.
