Amber is an exceptional coach. CrossFit can be incredibly intimidating, but from day one she created an environment where I felt comfortable and supported. She brings consistent positivity, motivates you to push yourself, and most importantly, prioritizes the safety and well-being of every member.

Today was a great class! Amber really focused on my technique, carefully watching my form during each lift and offering precise pointers to help me improve. Even while encouraging me to lift heavy weights, she made sure I maintained proper posture to avoid injury. I felt challenged but supported throughout the workout, which made me push harder than I thought I could. This balance between strength and skill is what sets CrossFit Swashbuckle apart for me. Leaving the class, I felt stronger and more confident in my movements, which makes each session rewarding.
Amber is always encouraging and pushes me to be just a little better than last time. She's so real and doesn't ever make me feel less than when I need (or want) to modify a workout. I always see her speaking individually to different people throughout the workout and that brief bit of 1 on 1 attention is such a boost.
Monica is such an encouraging coach! She pushes you and uplifts you the whole workout! She truly helps you believe you can do it when you’re struggling thinking you can’t. I always enjoy Monica’s class!

Amber is one of my favorite coaches. She makes her instructions & corrections in simple terms to understand. Amber does a great job of pushing me to be better.

Swashbuckle was incredibly friendly, energetic, and welcoming. I had been out of the fitness game for a while, and naturally felt a bit nervous getting back into it—but the coaches and community made a difference.They were encouraging, motivating, and pushed me just the right amount. I felt supported every step of the way. Definitely coming back!

Hello, today was my first day at swashbuckle, I arrived early and met Amber. She made me feel right at home and easy any nerves that I had. Amber’s direction and explanation of each exercise routine was excellent. Plus tips on lifting in a comfortable position help me out this morning! Friendly people and great facility. I will be joining this gym 👍👍!

Honestly, I can't think of any areas for improvement—everything from the facilities to the programming exceeds expectations. She was awesome! She was super helpful meeting me where I was physically and helping me figure out the best way to get my workout in without hurting myself in the process. She was patient and encouraging!
Amber did a great job explaining the workout and making sure everyone understood each movement and or exercise. I really appreciate how she makes a great effort to connect with every member through out the class. She was very intentional in making everyone feel apart of the swashbuckle community by calling everyone by name, spotting them when needed, coaching, correcting form, & constantly motivating athletes to keep going. I also enjoy the program/workout and how she makes recommendations on how to modify the workout based on each athlete’s experience and fitness level. You can tell she really cares about the athletes and wants to help them reach their goals.

All coaches at Swashbuckle are knowledgeable, foster community, and are familiar with the workouts and the appropriate scaling options for all patrons. Always high energy without ego, on-time, and prepared. I greatly appreciate constructive coaching tips, movement correction and clear concise cueing because I want to get better at the Olympic lifts (I think Brian H. excels at this and is a good model for other coaches). My only feedback would be on the overall workout experience - Potentially rotating different genres of WOD playlists on different days. Otherwise, I love coming every day!

My legs hurt
I did a trial class yesterday and absolutely loved it. Even though I couldn’t keep up at times, the one-on-one direction and encouragement kept me going. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I will be back!

Brian did great in explaining the workout and demonstrating correct form. He is warm and friendly which makes it easy to approach him with any questions or concerns. He also motivates us when we are at the toughest parts of the workout.
Coach was Brian. He does a good job of explaining movements and demonstrating them. He helps me when I can’t do movements find alternatives so I can still workout.
Brian H. Was the coach of the 5:30 pm class and I’ll say he definitely does a great job of keeping everyone on task! He can handle the large class very well! He is thorough when explaining g the workout of the day, he demos all movements and makes sure to take extra time with newbies!! Overall great experience!!!

Amber Cook did a good job of giving solid cues for the strength portion. Gave a me a solid cue during strict press, helped me refocus. Always good.
