I just started going to the 6:30am class with Holly and have really been enjoying my workouts! She brings great energy for the morning and challenges me to increase my weights and movements. If I’m not comfortable with something she is open to talking through scaling options, as a postpartum mom this is important to me.
When you think of support you think of coach Murray. He makes you feel comfortable yet is able to challenge you on an individual basis. Always a pleasure to know Coach Murray has your back !

Joining CrossFit after a total hip replacement felt intimidating, but Andrew has made every single experience at the gym a positive one. He always offers thoughtful, safe, and effective scaled options that still challenge me and keep me progressing. I feel completely supported and confident knowing he has my back every step of the way. On top of that, his energy and encouragement are unmatched — his cheerleading skills are absolutely on point! Andrew is an incredible coach, and I’m so grateful for the care, strength, and confidence he brings to every class. Highly recommend!
It was Open gym and he was able to quickly tailor a workout for me. It was not an easy one but its crossfit what is easy?

Had Dan as my coach for my first CF class ever at CrossFit Somos. He struck the perfect mix of encouragement, correction, and energy throughout the session. Dan took the time to explain each movement clearly, demonstrating proper form and gently correcting mine when needed, which made me feel confident rather than overwhelmed. His positive energy kept the pace lively and motivating, pushing me just enough without making it intimidating. Thanks for making it a great first experience - I left feeling accomplished and excited to come back. You’ll be seeing me again.

Today was my first day back at CrossFit Somos after a long break and it was awesome. I got to meet some new people who were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel inviting right from the start. The workout itself was well balanced - challenging enough to push me but also carefully paced so I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Coach Laura was especially supportive throughout the session. I struggle with feeling very sore after workouts, which could be because of my age or my job, but Laura always makes sure I’m comfortable by personalizing the intensity and moderating exercises when needed. What I really appreciate is how she checks in with me before the workout starts, taking the time to clarify each movement and setting clear goals for the session. That thoughtful approach helped me feel confident and motivated, knowing she was paying attention to how I was doing every step of the way.

Holly is always so supportive and knowledgeable as a coach. What I absolutely loved about today’s class is at the end of the class we had a few minutes left, and she used that time to go through some amazing stretches. She did not have to, but she chose too!!!! That is Holly and some of the magic and experience she brings to her class. Right up to the last minute she continues to support and look after her class’s well being. As I continue to push and struggle in my own CrossFit journey I am very grateful to have Holly in my corner😊

As a beginner, Laura has been an amazing coach to have. She is super approachable, and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. She knowledgeably (and patiently) explains each move every step of the way, gently correcting technique as needed. Her positive, encouraging energy keeps me motivated. Thanks Laura!

Holly, otherwise known as the strongest Mamma I know, is a fantastic coach. She demos efficiently, offers great modifications, and somehow manages to make 5:30am a great time of day.
Really enjoyed the class, everyone was welcoming and friendly! I was really impressed with the organization of the gym, clean & everything had its place which was nice to see.
I always enjoy Laura’s classes. Even while recovering from an injury, she makes sure I have safe scaling options so I can still get a great workout in. She’s also amazing at cheering everyone on when we’re struggling, which makes such a difference.

Somos has been a great environment for my own personal growth. Coach Andrew has helped me push through mental limits that gave me courage to try new movements I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do. He is great coaching us through when the wods get tough! 🙌🏼

Laura and the entire facility are truly heartwarming. I had tried going back to a regular gym, but honestly, it just wasn’t for me and I ended up giving up. Everything changed when I found Somos Fitness—once I started doing CrossFit and joining the classes, I felt welcomed right away. Everyone is so supportive, helpful, and completely non-judgmental. I 10000% recommend it!
I’ve known Holly as a coach for a long time now and today she was just as wonderful as she always is. She kept everyone on time, led a great warmup and had so many little helpful cues for everyone throughout the class. Thank you so much Somos and Holly for always making the space feel like home ♥️

I’ve experienced immense support from coach Holly. I would give 10/10 for her supervision. Especially when someone has certain limitations, coach Holly would always provide some modifications for the workout. And It has helps a lot.

Holly is an incredible coach! She is knowledgeable and motivating, and encourages you to challenge yourself. I am new to CrossFit, and Holly explains the movements clearly, making sure my form is correct and that I’m moving safely. She also provides lots of options for modifying when needed. She has helped me gain confidence and strength that I never knew I had and I’m so grateful!

Daniel was great! He checked in with me as this was his first time coaching me. Gave a great warm up, good setup with movement standards! Gave me some tips on picking up the heavy sandbag for today’s workout cause that was a BRAND new movement for me! Thanks for a great class Daniel!

Our first trip out to Somos as a couple was a great start. Dan took the time to ease us into routines and the workout, while monitoring and giving sound advice on our posture etc. Nice group of people to begin our training with throughout the gym. Thanks again👍

My first class at Somos was great! Daniel greeted me when I came in and made me feel comfortable. He asked about my athletic journey, any restrictions I may have, and made me feel like I was in good hands. Daniel introduced me to another member that I could pair up with who was super friendly and welcoming. During the workout, there were check-ins to see how I was doing, and post workout follow up. Daniel was very professional and friendly, even though it was my first class at Somos, I felt really comfortable 😊. Highly recommend!

Holly is a fabulous coach! She’s always positive, encouraging and dials in on small technical details that make such a big difference. I especially appreciate that she always reviews proper core bracing and breathing technique to protect your pelvic floor- this was something I never had questions for in my early lifting days that I wish I had.

Laura was a great coach! She checked in with me to make sure the weights I was using were an appropriate weight and that I wasn't pushing myself too hard to aggravate an injury I'm working with.

Very welcoming when I first arrived ... And immediately asked about any existing injuries ⭐. During class Holly's voice was clear and her instructions were uncomplicated and easy to follow. Pointers were given and class was kept focused and punctual! Over all well done!

Laura is one of the best coaches out there- caring, uplifting, positive and genuine. She will always provide options if you’re experiencing any type of discomfort or pain that day, but she will also push you on when you think about giving up. She lights up the day for people around her!
As always Laura made class enjoyable, gave various scaling options. Gave opportunities to challenge ourselves but respected limitations and never pushes to injury. Great class!
Holly is an amazing coach who is always tuning into everybody’s needs for example my lower back was hurting today so she suggested I run on the assault track versus shuttle runs right be bending over. She’s always checking in with everybody and always keeping us motivated during the grind of a workout.
As always, Laura is incredibly supportive and encouraging. She leads the class with clear instruction, in a friendly manner, and assists one-on-one, as needed.
It was perfect as always 6:30 is good time Anything late would be too late for my morning I think I love morning classes
I love going to MA’s classes! Everything is explained well and she always checks in on everyone to make sure they have modification options and are comfortable with how the workout will roll out!
