Ali is a great coach. Being somewhat new to Crossfit, I have a lot to learn. Ali has been patient, motivating and encouraging since I started. She doesn't let me off the hook, but pushes me just enough. I never feel like I am at a loss in her classes. I've learned a lot so far, and look forward to continuing to work with Ali at CFK in the future!

Ali is the best instructor, always providing clear guidance, sharing her expertise to maximize workouts and improve training. She is tuned into all participants, checks everyone’s techniques and adjusts as necessary based upon individuals experience and strengths. Ali’s knowledge and personality make for high energy classes where I have the best workouts and leave happy after every single class. Ali is fantastic!!

I absolutely love Ali’s workouts and keep coming back because she creates an amazing program that is consistent yet diverse week to week. It’s always challenging and always a great workout! Love the motivation, encouragement, and scaling options for all fitness levels. Ali remembers my issues and offers modifications when needed. I love this community, coaches and this gym, thank you for keeping me engaged through the years.

I don’t consider myself a CrossFitter, but as I hit my 40s, I wanted to mix in some light strength training a couple times a week. I tried two other gyms before Kingstowne and just didn’t feel like I fit in. As someone who’s spent years recruiting coaches for boxing and martial arts studios, I know the impact a great coach can have. Like I always say, “the program is only as good as the coaches”- Ali is a great one. She has a natural ability to connect with everyone, explains things clearly, and keeps the energy up without making anyone feel out of place. Even as an outsider, I felt welcomed, challenged, and motivated.

Ali always runs a fun and effective class. She takes us through a comprehensive warm up focused on the areas to be utilized during class. The strength portion of classs usually follows the warm up although not always. Ali always provides clear direction and demonstrates the proper movement and scaled options for the strength and metcon portions of class. She takes the time to check in and provide feedback for everyone in class. She also is aware of each members strengths and areas of concern, she makes sure that if you are nursing any injuries or soreness to provide options. Ali makes class fun by her bubbly personality and interactions with class members.

Coach Ken always shows up with the best attitude! He pays attention to members individually and always checks in to see if modifications are needed. His demonstrations of movements are thorough but to the point. He effectively keeps the energy up in the room and pushes everyone to work a little harder!

Sam is a tremendous instructor! Whenever he's leading a class, he meticulously goes over movements, thoroughly explaining how to approach a workout, and is extremely observant on your form, so that you can improve movements to reach your fitness goals. He does all of this while maintaining an enthusiastic, encouraging, positive attitude! Sam is a rockstar we are fortunate to have him teach us at CrossFit Kingstowne!

Ali was really helpful today, as usual. She helped make sure my Power Clean form was good during the strength portion of the workout. She's always paying attention and making sure we're getting the best workout we can within our personal limits.

Ken did a fantastic job controlling the class throughout the entire workout. He walked around making sure everyone knew what they were doing and adjusting people as needed. Personally, I can’t do a lot of the movements and he was able to adjust it to fit my needs without having to bend my knee, but still feel like I was doing something within the workout And still doing the workout with everyone.

I had an absolutely fantastic CrossFit class this morning led by the one and only Ali! What truly sets Ali apart is the incredible culture and environment she cultivates. It's motivating, inclusive, and genuinely makes you want to be there. She's more than just a coach; Ali is a true leader in our Kingstown CrossFit community. When she speaks, everyone listens attentively – she has a way of commanding the audience with clarity and confidence. Her use of coaching cues is terrific. She can break down even the most complex movements into understandable steps, guiding us through them effectively and ensuring we're moving correctly. I especially appreciate how she encourages us to push our limits, but always with a strong emphasis on safety and proper form. And let's not forget her fantastic sense of humor! It lightens the mood, allows us to relax (even when our muscles are screaming!), and ultimately helps us push forward on our fitness journeys. Ali's classes are a highlight – highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing coach and a great CrossFit experience!"

Ali is by far the best Coach/Instructor and I've had quite a few in the past 20+ years. The programming keeps me on my toes and she always takes time to correct my form to reduce the risk of injury. In addition, Ali is great at motivating us to do a little better each day and I genuinely enjoy every class I attend.

Daniela is a great coach! She is very supportive and knows how to scale my workouts to accommodate my fitness level while ensuring I have a gradual and safe progression. The class was well taught by Sam and he continues to push me to do my best! I am currently struggling with the hang cleans and he’s given me tons of advice and broke down all the steps in order for me to do to it correctly. Sam’s a gem and always has a positive attitude!
