Ray is an amazing coach! I love that she demonstrates all movements, shows scaling options and checks in one-on-one. I also love that during movements she gives constructive feedback on form. She makes jokes and is personable but also keeps the class on track for time.

Tony did an excellent job coaching today. He does well during warmups to get your body moving and start stretching. He has a good balance of feedback to improve a movement and also helping you push on in the workouts. I have enjoyed doing WODs with Tony and not with him coaching I am excited to see how he can help me grow.

Lindsay did (and always does) great! Today was kind of challenge for me regarding strength, but Lindsay offered tips and coaching strategies that I thought about through the workout that I think really helped me get through more than I may have. The coaching staff and laid back approaches is a main reason why CFHR is such an awesome gym that I will continue to be a member of!

Danielle is a great coach. I am newer coming back from a long hiatus from crossfit so she spends a lot of time with me making sure my form is correct. I’ve been there “long enough” where I am starting to try to take on more weight, try to challenge myself with the workouts more and she has been great at helping me set limits as I go to make sure I maintain my safety, dont get hurt, and am able to keep coming back so I can eventually handle what I am trying to do. Thanks coach!

Lindsay did GREAT! Her attention to everyone's technique was exceptional. "Watch those heals, Mike!" I heard call out from other side of the gym. She was able to catch it mid rep. I love the feedback.

Nicole is so good with technique and her ability to communicate it through the cues and teaching. She has great energy and gives equal attention across the class. She’s a rockstar at what she does. I have 2 items as feedback: 1. I would have liked to change out the amount of weight between the deadlifts and the squats. I feel I was limited with the amount of weight for the squats which made the deadlifts too easy. 2. I feel I was cheating by doing some of my “toes to bar” by lying down and doing the “Vs”, not sure what they are called. I was doing 10 of each, alternately . I felt I should have done more of them if you do the Vs. Make sense? If you need some amplifying info, I will chat with you next time I see you. Overall, I give it a 4 star. My legs were screaming when I tried to do a rowing workout when I left CrossFit. You are a great instructor, Ray. My favorite. Thanks for all the “extra” assistance and motivation you give me!😊

I absolutely dislike the feeling of a GHD because I have yet to convince my brain that I am not going to fall. I appreciated that Dani pushed me to try it while also being supportive and standing there to give me a measure of how far back I was going.

Ray is always fantastic! The coaches really make you want to come and work out because they feel more like friends who are helping us on our fitness journey. Ray is like your best friend, keeping up with your life happenings while giving you excellent coaching. Nicole is one of our newer coaches and she is a gifted explainer for all parts of her coaching from the warm up to the WOD and anything in between. She is very clear and precise on adjustments so you know exactly what to work on.
