Awesome coaching by Chris! From the moment I stepped in for my first day at CrossFit Escondido, he gave me all the details and information I needed so I didn’t feel lost or overwhelmed. Instead of just throwing me into the workout, Chris carefully explained each movement and the proper form, making sure I understood before I started. His clear guidance and constant check-ins kept me confident and focused, turning what could have been a confusing experience into one where I felt capable and ready to tackle every exercise. Thanks to his support, I never felt like a fish out of water.

Gym was awesome! It was early in the morning so very few people were there but everyone worked hard and were supportive of me being new and the instructor was motivating and positive the entire time.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coach Emily was awesome this morning. Even though it was an early Monday and I wasn’t fully feeling it, she brought great energy and support throughout the 40-minute HYROX-style workout. She did a fantastic job helping with smart scaling while still pushing us to apply our best effort. Encouraging, attentive, and motivating—exactly the kind of coaching that makes a tough workout feel achievable and rewarding.
Hannah is an amazing coach. She goes into detail on the workout of the day. Shows you exactly how to do each movement. She’s great !!!
Hannah is a fantastic CrossFit instructor - I believe she has a genuine interest in making sure all participants - regardless of age or ability - feel welcome and comfortable with the workouts and make progress towards their individual goals. As a senior, I appreciate the one on one coaching and tailoring of workouts to match my abilities.

Great class as always. Hannah was very helpful and led the class thoroughly. She did a great warm up after explaining the workout of the day and then gave enough time before the start of the workout. She was motivating and walking around during the metcon which was a good way to ensure people are working out properly and avoiding injury.
Sorry this feedback is coming in late. I always enjoy the classes you program and coach. Hyrox style! 😀 You provide clear direction and coaching as well as bring positive energy. Keep up the great work!
Loved the workout! The vibe was super positive and fun and the exercises were challenging but easily scaled for my ability. Glad I went today! Coach DJ seems super approachable and kept the energy high.

First time attending CrossFit Escondido and DJ was our coach! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome by greeting everyone with a friendly smile and clear instructions. Throughout the workout, DJ supported us by carefully observing our form, suggesting adjustments to avoid injury, and offering encouragement when the exercises got tough. He personalized the session by scaling movements to match each person’s ability, ensuring everyone could keep up and get the most out of the class. The energy in the room was motivating, and DJ’s guidance helped me push through moments when I wanted to quit. I will be going back and look to attend his class again because the combination of his support and the challenging workout made it a truly rewarding experience.
My first day at CrossFit Escondido, and Coach DJ made me feel welcome from the start. Right away, he took the time to introduce himself and explain the workout, making sure I understood each exercise. I had a great time working out with so many like minded people. Very supportive environment. Overall a great experience, will be making this my new gym.
Great experience with Dan, as with every Tues/Thurs 6am Dan pays attention to every person in class and gives personalized feedback, pushes and challenges us, and makes it fun along the way. Not to mention the playlist is FIRE
Dan is great to make sure we have a proper warm up and stretching before getting started. He’s encouraging during the workout and making sure of proper form.

Hannah is an amazing teacher and was able to manage even a large class. She gave great tips during class to make sure my daughter and I had correct form and we also felt motivated and encouraged! Great workout and super fun!
Coach Emily gives the best workout overviews. Other coaches, but especially DJ 🥸, need to take notes. With a number 2 pencil 📝. I find that I have the least amount of questions after one of her overviews and thus feel comfortable going into the WOD. She does a good job of going through the workout examples sequentially, which is easy for me to follow Coach Emily is patient with encouragement as needed, but also fair and honest in the workout, so that everyone is pushing themselves to the pace that the workout is designed to be pushed at. On a very subjective level, I enjoy the trust she gives me, and when she brings her dog 🐶

Loving the group workout sessions with DJ. He’s got a gift for motivating and inspiring you to push harder, but to also make you feel completely comfortable modifying and listening to your body to not over do it. I feel like I get a really great work out - that sore the next day but I can still walk normal and function kinda feeling! The programs are really well designed too, and I’m never bored. Loving the sense of community as well, everyone really supports each other. See you there!!

It was a challenging yet achievable workout with a variety of exercises. We had the opportunity to increase the challenge based on our individual desires. As always, Chris provided a positive environment to get it all done.
Coach DJ was great. From the warmup, to the skill and to the workout, he explained everything well and to my understanding. Made class fun, even though running sucks lol. It was a great class.
Hannah did great! She warmed us up well and did a good job with a larger class demo’ing the movements and providing good scaling options.
Dan frustrates me but he is so good about breaking down the moves. He sees my frustration and pushes me further. I appreciate how much he helps me complete the moves correctly even though I’m frustrated. Thank you for helping me today, your guidance really made a difference.

Emily did an excellent job coaching this morning. Coaching rope climbs to a large class can be challenging, especially with such a broad range of abilities. Emily broke us into two groups so one group could work on basics and the other could focus on climbs and decent. After working on technique, we reviewed the WOD and got down to business of squatting and sweating. Good class!

I came in not anything. I was nervous because I've never done this kind of exercise let alone any workouts. My first day was supposed to be just "checking it out" but I stayed instead and tried it out. Dj was super understanding and very professional. Making sure I was alright and not pushing myself, even though I think I did haha. Overall 2 days experience were really good. Absolutely going to come back for the real workouts!!
She is super duper nice and helped me scale the workout to what I could handle. Was very encouraging and really explained how to do things well :)

I’ve been taking Sweat classes at CrossFit Escondido, and I can’t say enough great things about Coach Chris Kenyon. Even though he’s relatively new, Chris brings an impressive level of knowledge, energy, and professionalism to every session. He’s incredibly kind, supportive, and always takes the time to make sure everyone is moving safely and getting the most out of their workout. What really sets Chris apart is how fun and approachable he is. He creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you actually look forward to workouts! Highly recommend taking a class with Chris at CrossFit Escondido.
Coach Dj is always extremely helpful! Every session he coaches allows me to be comfortable with not being at the top level but my level and just work on improving each time. Having an encouraging coach makes all the difference.

Conlan is an incredible coach. He is lighthearted, yet knowledgeable. He is calm, yet present, and is always walking around and giving corrections as needed. Today was a great example of that. It was a tough workout and he was so positive and encouraging throughout.

Emily is a fantastic coach! Knowledgeable and controls the chaos even with a giant class. I love how far the gym has come with the new ownership! I’m super pumped on the direction it’s going. My personal preference is workouts with more heavy lifting Olympic lifts etc. and not trying to offend anyone but I think question of the day time can be better spent with movement prep mobility or more warmup.
