Devan was very informative with all aspects of the different hold and lifts with the barbell today. He helped me move my feet and arms when needed to improve my technique. Today is the first day I’ve felt confident doing snatches with the barbell!

I had a great jujitsu session with Devan tonight. The instruction was clear, patient, and really well‑paced. Since there were only two of us, it felt almost like a personal training session, and I got a ton of individual attention and technical detail.

Despite not being able to get to the gym due to safety precautions I still showed up to do the work. That is the kind of effect Ground Zero has on people. Even at home I can hear Coach Carlos correcting my form as well as cheering me on with rest of the group. A year ago, I’m certain I was waiting for the new year to get back on track and this year my focus is to stay on track and do better than ever during the holidays. Thanks Ground Zero for rekindling my workout spirit!

Today I knocked out a CrossFit-style home workout inspired by Ground Zero Fitness, and it reminded me why I love being part of this gym so much. Ground Zero isn’t just a place to work out — it’s a community that gives me the tools, confidence, and programming to stay consistent even with my busy schedule. I completed rounds of dumbbell front rack work and hand-alternating planks. For the lunges, I used my own bodyweight instead of weights, but it still challenged me. I finished 6 full rounds of 20 reps, and the planks felt strong too. Overall, it was a solid session, and I’m proud that I can stay on track with my fitness goals right from home thanks to the support and structure Ground Zero Fitness provides. Being a member truly makes it easier to show up, whether I’m at the gym or in my living room.
Debra, and all of the coaches at Ground Zero Fitness, do a great job pushing us when we need to be pushed and re-assuring us when we need to know someone has our back during a tough workout.
The coach Carlos explained the movements greatly. He even wrote down modifications on a white board for me to follow. Dealing with PTSD , depression, and anxiety along with arthritis in knees and back helped me feel better with exercise. Thanks Curtis wiseman
Coach Carlos brings a fun vibe to the 6am class. He helps keep you motivated and cheers you on along the way. I appreciate how he breaks down the workout and moves to keep you safe and help you correctly lift weight. Go Carlos!
Only my second work out. I pulled a muscle and was given alternative exercises. Worked out well.
Carlos does great. He’s very good at explaining movements and demonstrating movements, especially ones I’m not familiar with or haven’t done.

Coach Greg provided encouragement and feedback on technique throughout the entire class. He made sure that even when you needed to scale a movement you still felt .
The class was wonderful and I love the helpfulness and friendliness of everybody I met! I appreciated the encouragement other members freely gave as well. This is truly a great place that I hope to be able to join at some point in the future.

Class was taught very well. Clearly explained everything and went through motion breakdowns before each workout. I didn't particularly care for the workout today because my personal motions felt too slow to get through all the reps I wanted to do in the slotted times. But I thought the class went very well.

Excellent coaching for everyone, not just hardcore athletes. Everything is scaled to participants ability and Greg make certain movements are done correctly to avoid injury! Family oriented and for all skill levels.

Carlos was great today. He helped me with my breathing technique so that I could deadlift more! He also showed me different grips to try on the bar so all of this helped me lift more then I thought possible!

It does a great job explaining the workout, try e technique to complete each exercise safely and properly, and modifications. He is also very encouraging and recognizes you when you accomplish something new.
