Coach Jess does a great job breaking down every movement so athletes at all levels fully understand! She is very positive and is always eager to demonstrate the movements until everyone is capable of doing a version of the movement!

Honestly I just appreciate the fact that she is able to push me to be a better version of myself while also making sure that even though I can't do certain stuff she finds an alternative for it and I really appreciate it.

Started doing CrossFit consistently this year up in Northern Virginia and needed a place to drop in while I was in town visiting family. I knew a few people who went to CFC so it was natural for me to check out. Upon signing up for the drop in, Coach Jess, the Owner and Head Coach who ended up coaching the class escorted me and my son (who I brought along to hang out while I worked out) to the kids room which had a tv, fan, couch, toys, and little padded playpen area for them to run around in. A few other kids showed up which kept him entertained. As far as the gym is concerned, it is MUCH larger than my home gym which had an area with powerlifting platforms and other gymnastic equipment, and in the main area had multiple rigs, barbells, assault bikes, rowers, and every other piece of equipment you’d expect for a CF gym. The members were all welcoming and friendly, as most CF communities are, but the workout itself was a great mix of strength and metabolic conditioning. I only have two pieces of constructive feedback. The first is that with the number of people who signed up for the 4PM session, I feel there wasn’t a lot of one on one attention in terms of assessing technique, however a lot of those who were working out were coaches themselves, so they were able to provide some on demand pointers during certain movements. The second (and this is probably because I’m used to how my home gym does it), is to utilize the Workout section of the member app to populate the WOD so people can see what the workout is going to be ahead of time (especially for those doing drop ins), however, I’m aware that they have a Facebook group to communicate WODs on a daily basis. So this probably isn’t as much of a big deal for the members there. Overall, I loved the
