First time of doing CrossFit, came with a friend of mine, Coach Ben was helpful and supportive and gave tips/advice on exercises and the community around it was friendly and welcoming, looking forward to do it again
I really enjoyed yesterday’s workout at CrossFit! I loved how intense but positive it felt! I definitely left feeling sore but also like I had really worked hard. I also liked the combination of exercises to hit different parts of the body.
Lauren is the best!! She creates an environment where I feel completely comfortable with every workout, no matter how challenging it gets. She pays close attention to my form throughout the session, making small adjustments that help me avoid injury and get the most out of each movement. At the same time, she knows exactly when to push me harder - encouraging me to reach just beyond my limits without making me feel overwhelmed. Her energy and support make the workouts at CrossFit Anazao not only effective but also something I look forward to. With Lauren guiding me, every session feels like a step forward, both physically and mentally.

Lauren is an excellent coach. She is always attentive to technique, constantly motivates us, and adapts the workouts to each person’s level. She has been supporting me since my very first classes, and it is always a pleasure to train with her. Thanks to her guidance, I have improved my strength, endurance, confidence in every movement, as well as my consistency at the gym and overall physical condition. Thanks to her and to all the coaches who do an excellent job and provide great support in every class. I love the Anazao community.
Coach Dez works hard to make sure we understand and know how to do the exercises. She tailors them as needed. She is encouraging, communicates well and makes sure everyone gets the best lesson she can give.
Coach Gabby is always positive and works with you on making sure you start the workout where you need to be. She motivates and praises everyone along the way as well!
First day back after an injury and I was a bit nervous to do anything really. Ben made some minor changes to the workout to match my current abilities. He kept in check with me during the entire workout to make sure my benmade workout was still OK for me. I found a place where I can go to group classes, have that personal training feel, and the absolute best support system whenever I need it. Thank you! I was a bit put off by being made 'slightly famous' with no heads up til I walked in and saw lights though.

Ben did a fantastic job today with helping throughout the workout. He watched and made suggestions to me for my form, ensuring I got the most out of the workout without injury. I also found the pep talk helpful, which challenges me to work even harder - i.e. I completed four reps without breaking my front squats up!
My coach did good he talked me thru what I should do and told me I could do that and it made me motivated
Lauren is a great coach. She went through all the technics and gave specific feedback during a difficult and complex lift. I feel improved and more confident because of her!

I always enjoy Edgars classes. He is very energetic, motivating, and touches base with every athlete during class. Edgar ensures athletes are performing movements correctly and provides alternatives for limitations. Great job 👍

Today was great. The coach had a well-planned workout that kept things moving and challenging without feeling overwhelming. I loved the enthusiasm everyone brought to the session at CrossFit Anazao - it created this energetic vibe that made pushing through each exercise easier. There was constant encouragement and help from both the coach and other members, whether it was spotting form, offering tips, or just cheering each other on. That sense of community and support really stood out and made the workout not just effective but enjoyable.

Edgar is one of the good guys in life. Always smiling, positive, and upbeat. He makes the gym fun and has a way of coaching that puts you at ease with your personal shortcomings. He checks on everyone and genuinely cares. Rock star status!

I recently joined Ben’s gym after training at other CrossFit gyms for a while, and honestly, this place feels different — in the best way possible. Ben is so much more than just a gym owner. He’s present, encouraging, and genuinely invested in everyone’s progress. He and the rest of the coaching team are always on the floor, giving feedback, helping with form, and making sure every athlete gets the support they need. You can tell they truly care about people, not just performance. From the first day, Ben made me feel welcome and part of the community. The workouts are challenging and smartly programmed, but it’s Ben’s energy, attention to detail, and passion — along with the dedication of his coaching staff — that make you want to keep showing up. I’m so glad I made the switch!

In addition to Des’s incredible technical knowledge she also knows her athletes personal strengths and weaknesses so well that she can quickly tell anyone what their adaptations should be to improve as well as push their strengths hard so they can continue to improve those as well.

We had a packed class, which tends to be difficult to keep organized but Ben were able to make sure everyone didn't feel left out. He pays attention to details and remains present, which is helpful for us

I really enjoy classes when Desi is the coach, you can always depend on her showing up for you 100%. She engages and encourages every single person in the class and pays close attention to make sure you’re doing all the movements correctly and safely. She also is great at knowing what’s working for you and what isn’t so you’re able to alter the workout in a way that allows you to still get a great session but also not discouraging you the the point of quitting. She always brings her A game to coaching and she expects you to also bring yours!

Ben is very helpful and kind. When an exercise is hard for me, he always takes the time to explain and helps me find a way to do it. He makes me feel comfortable and confident in class. I really enjoy learning and appreciate all the help!
Heather has helped me sooo much with my techniques. She always has some small modification for me to make with the various lifts that make such a big difference. Just something like "try pointing your toes out a little more" or "try this to engage your lats more". When I'm in the middle of a tough set, im not always super receptive to instruction but Heather always presents the instruction in such a way that I understand and so that I know she is only trying to make me better. I always enjoy Heather's classes very much.
Ben always shows us the correct way to do the exercises. He checks to make sure each person is doing okay. Ben is such a wonderful caring coach. He is always very encouraging!!

Loved the class!!! Jeremy was super patient, engaging and extremely knowledgeable! His experience was apparent throughout the session! It's funny, the class kicked my butt, but his style made it flo to the point that I didn't realize we were done and thought there was another round! 😂 😆 😂 I will definitely recommend you guys to others in our community! Heather can be counted on to always bring positive energy and great feedback to her classes. I especially like her critique on form during the skill sessions. She always makes sure that everyone has a plan before the WOD and checks in after to see if you hit your goals. 💪
Coach Cindy is awesome! She motivates me to push through workouts and always suggests “add more weight to that bar, that looked too easy” making me come out of my comfort zone and feeling more confident in myself.
I always love when Ben is coaching! I trust him and he knows what I am capable of. I tend to underestimate myself so I need him to push me and I know he will do it safely. He's never been wrong. :)

He was great, he did a great job at leading us and showing us the the way and techniques of the exercises, and showing us how many reps and the amount of wight for each rep suggested for are strengths and weaknesses,he also keep the class entering be communicating with us and making the workout enjoyable, he also strongly encourages us and leads us to are goal,so to Ben and all the coaches, thank you, alot.
Ben had a full class this morning and did very well watching everyone's form and correcting if needed (including myself!), coming up with scaling options for anyone who needed it, while keeping everyone on task and on time. Workout was great as always! Thanks Ben!
