Gabby is probably my biggest cheerleader at the gym. She pushes me to keep going, gives clear direction on movements, lets me know when I need to add weight on or take weight off & focus on my form. She has, on more than one occasion, stepped out of her own workout, to coach me if she sees me struggling or if my form falls apart. She gives excellent visual cues on movements. And if all that isn’t enough, she’s just a genuinely good person. She is knowledgeable & approachable.

My experience with Julie as a coach is always a wonderful one. She’s very observant because she noticed that while I was doing the bench press I had the bench seat the wrong way …that you have to have the shorter end of the legs out when you’re placing your plates to raise your legs up a little bit for a short legs like mine.. in addition, she’s always making sure everybody’s form is correct💪🏻😁💕

Carlene is an incredible coach. She focuses on the basics during the brief, to remind athletes of expectations and safe movements. Big Rob has been my coach for most of the classes I’ve taken since joining, and he’s awesome! Cara killed it today! The 12 days of Christmas WOD has a lot going on and is always a huge class. Cara wrangled everyone in, went through the whiteboard brief clearly, made sure to check in with everyone to make sure they were set, AND get the workout started on time. Cara can handle a big class and a big WOD with lots of moving pieces while staying light and breezy and keeping the class fun!

Julie, has a passion for fitness and guiding clients through the mechanics of of each exercise, so every one can progress and improve over time. She is supportive towards everyone in class, weather it’s giving suggestions or tips on improving A movement, cheering people on or helping someone with their needs or concerns/questions. All the coaches that I’ve had for the 9:00am class have exhibited these qualities. The couple of times I’ve noticed someone being upset or annoyed over something or someone in class over a 3 year period in my opinion had more to do with timing or pet-peeve issues. Dave I believe all your coaches deserve 5 stars, they have to deal with 15-25 different personalities all at once keeping us on track and moving forward. Some days for them it’s like herding cats.😂 Coaches or clients ,we all have our strengths and weaknesses, it is a pleasure to be part of this community ware we are Learning and feeding off each other all bound together to achieve our goals.

We did Sumo deadlifts in class today and Kristie was extremely helpful with quick tips/tweaks to get better form and add more weight. I’ve been coming to CrossFit 845 for about six months and I think this was my first time doing this movement. By the end of the workout I felt like I had more confidence in the lift and was able to do more than I thought I would.

Cara is one of my favorite instructors at 845. She always takes the time to make sure you fully understand the workout structure, each movement and helps with modifications when needed. She checks on each member individually and helps to motivate you when the workout gets tough. Even at 5am, her sunny, warm personality shows through, leaving you looking forward to her next class!

Coach Dave is enthusiastic & lively, and incredibly knowledgeable about fitness. Not only does he coach on what workouts to do, but is he also great at guiding you on how to do them correct & efficiently, being highly important. I brought my sister for bring-a-friend week and Dave was able to create a safe space for her to feel comfortable & confident in her workout, and less terrified of trying CrossFit for the first time! Well deserved 5⭐️’s!

CJ is a great coach at CF845! He is very detailed and thorough when going over the daily WODs. CJ is very attentive to each person in class and provides constructive feedback. I enjoy his classes, and always learn something new!

James is the best. All of his classes are great, but today in particular. The class quickly grew in size and there were too many participants for the number of rowers so he quickly, on the fly, seamlessly pivoted to two separate heats without any issue or confusion.

Great endurance workout. I enjoyed that it was a Teams workout and that there was a little rest built in. Also really appreciated that we did some stretching as part of the warm up.

My friend Marian and I had a blast at CrossFit 845’s Saturday team workout! We dropped in from Northeast PA and we felt very welcomed by Dave and his athletes!! Dave gave us the gym tour, allowed us to help create the workout and he put us on a team with another athlete!! The gym was incredibly clean, organized and there was air conditioning!! Thanks Coach Dave for a great workout and for the hospitality!!! 😊
